Technical Requirements
Please review the following requirements for Microsoft Teams for your reference.
Requirements
1. You will need to make sure you have access to the internet, as we will be using Microsoft Teams for this event.
2. If you would like to test your sound and video before you join, please see the following steps:
- Access Settings: Open the Microsoft Teams application on your device or open the webpage version in your browser (Chrome/Edge recommended), click the three-dot menu (...) next to your profile picture, and select 'Settings'.
- Navigate to Devices: Click on the 'Devices' tab.
- Select Hardware: Ensure the correct microphone, camera and speaker/headset are selected in the dropdown menus.
- Make a Test Call: Click the "Make a test call" button.
- Follow Prompts: Follow instructions from the Test Call Bot, which will prompt you to speak and will then play back your recording to verify quality.
- Review Results: After the call, a summary will appear, allowing you to make any necessary adjustments.

Networking Break
A strong network can help launch your career. From 6.35-6.50pm AEDT, you will have the opportunity to join breakout rooms with Audiology Australia, Specsavers and A.T. Still University to network with other attendees and start those relationships that will help you reach your career goals. This is your opportunity to make the connections which will assist you through your Audiology journey!
This 15-minute session will be interactive with other attendees, so please ensure you enable your camera and microphone. You will be able to switch between the breakout rooms at your leisure throughout the 15-minutes, allowing you to make the most of this time.
